2010 NATIONAL LEARN TO SKI & SNOWBOARD WEEK
Kicks off January 16-24, 2010

Skiing and snowboarding reign supreme as Canada's winter sport of choice during National Learn to Ski & Snowboard Week (NLSSW), January 16-24, 2010.

National Learn to Ski & Snowboard Week was established more than 30 years ago as a celebration of Canada's favourite season for millions of Canadians: winter. Every year in mid-January people of all ages are encouraged to head to their local ski areas and discover unlimited winter fun.

"There's so much to discover at Canada's ski areas this season," says Colin S. Chedore, President of the Canadian Ski Council. "Skiing, snowboarding, snowtubing, dog-sledding, cross-country skiing... there are all kinds of activities to choose from, especially during National Learn to Ski & Snowboard Week. It's the perfect time to experience winter fun at Canada's ski areas."

Marble Mountain Resort will be offering 2-for-1 Discover Skiing and Discover Snowboarding packages during National Learn to Ski & Snowboard Week. These introductory lesson packages include a lift pass, equipment rental and a group lesson. That's everything you need to be a part of Canada's most exciting and popular winter sports!

In-depth details of National Learn to Ski and Snowboard Week are featured on the Canadian Ski Council's website (www.skicanada.org), including a list of ski areas holding NLSSW events across the country. Be sure to check participating ski area's web sites for details too!

Don't be shy; during National Learn to Ski and Snowboard Week... give winter a try!
