Getting to Marble Mountain Resort

Looking for a winter escape? If you're planning a winter vacation in Canada, Marble Mountain Ski Resort is your winter holiday headquarters. Getting here is easy with direct flights and affordable all-inclusive ski vacation packages including airfare, car rental, lift passes and slope side accommodations.

Location

We’re located on the west coast on the island of Newfoundland in eastern Canada.
Marble Mountain is part of the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain Range, which stretches up from Georgia in the Southern United States.

The summit of Marble Mountain is 1,700 feet above the Humber River, which cuts a winding path through the majestic Humber Valley to the Bay of Islands on Newfoundland's west coast.

The closest city is Corner Brook, which is the service hub for Western Newfoundland and home to 21,000 people. Marble Mountain Resort is about 10km (6 miles) from Corner Brook.

Getting Here By Air

Marble Mountain Resort is easily accessible by air via two local airports:

  • The nearest airport is in Deer Lake, which is just half-hour away on the Trans Canada Highway, a four-lane divided highway that is kept clear of snow by the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Highways.
  • You can also fly into Stephenville, which is about one hour away.

Getting Here By Ground

Marble Mountain is located just off the Trans Canada Highway, a four-lane divided highway. We are about seven hours by car from St. John’s. A driving trip to Marble Mountain from mainland Canada includes a six-hour ride on one of Marine Atlantic's passenger super ferries, departing daily from North Sydney, Nova Scotia. The sea journey ends at Port aux Basques, which is about a three-hour drive on the Trans Canada Highway to Corner Brook and Marble Mountain Resort.
